9 Step First-Aid for Depression

1.) Plan a trip – to the front door – open it wide and breathe in the air now slowly release it as you release all of your self judgement! 
2.) You don’t need to get over your depression- you just need to get past it! “Excuse me Mr. Gloomy Gus , you can stay sitting here I just need to get past you!”
3.) And guess what?? You CAN be joyful and miserable at the same time!
4.) And sadness and happiness can get in bed together.
5.) MOVE ! Act crazy, sweep the floor, run in place, dance freestyle ,skip from one end of the house to the other.
6.) Have some carbs! Replenish your serotonin.
7.) If you’re not ready to let go of your friendship with depression the good news is you can still be terribly fine while being totally miserable. Just act “as if”.
8.) Smile, smile , smile. It changes your brain waves.
9.) What is the lie depression whispers to you about who you are? 
(Nehemiah 8:10) “The joy of the Lord is my strength”.
